A thoroughly enjoyable and sentimental Christmas rom-com, involving cultural differences, loneliness, attraction, and more. Some genuinely amusing moments, some quite poignant, and an entirely satisfactory, if somewhat contrived ending.

Rated 12A, and unlikely to be of interest to anyone under the age of at least fifteen or more. But highly recommended to older teens or adults who want a bit of light romance with some great acting from big names, and a feel-good overall theme.

A wonderful story about two strangers on different continents trading places for vacation. Of course the movie is about a love interest but you are really pulling for the couples. Highly recommended. ( )

Two unhappily-single women swap houses.

2/4 (Indifferent).

It's two movies - one is okay, one is bad. Even if they were both good, I still probably wouldn't want to watch them both simultaneously. ( )
