Fundamentals of good 4th grade education
  jhawn | Jul 31, 2017 |
I like how the various subjects overlap. For example, they learn about medieval Europe in World Civilization, and Gothic Architecture in the Fine Arts. I also like how they bring in the civilizations of the East and Central Asia. The readings in literature arts are interesting and connected to what was being studied in the history section. The farther you go in this series, the more it is apparent that these are not textbooks, but a compilation of material that would be part of a good 4th grade education in our country. ( )
