This was a story of a family who had an extra special measure of love and grace. When one of the young sons brings home a wife without much of a warning the whole family is dismayed by his actions, but yet they try their hardest to accept this lady into their household, Florimel, the young lady, is difficult (if at times impossible) to like, especially when you know she married him for the money she thought he would inherit from his family. But things don't happen the way she thought they would when Rex brings his new bride home for Christmas. You will cheer on the Mom and the siblings as they struggle with the attitude and actions of Florimel. Although this story was well done, it was not one of my favorites by this author. ( )
