Uncle John had received an offer to buy his old mine at Rose Creek. But he promises to not sell it until Mandie and her friend Joe have had a chance to see it. Exploring a deserted farmhouse near the mine, they discover a fancy new dress hanging on the wall. Retuning the next day, thee dress is gone!
