My son loved this book. He loves graphic novels, so seeing the life of a pteranodon drawn out was great for him. They displayed several other dinosaurs too, and after we finished reading it, we looked at the list in the back of dinosaurs that were in the book and looked for them. ( )

This graphic series of scientific books would be appealing to some readers who are reluctant towards non fiction titles. It gives a different approach for students to research and learn about a topic. The introduction gives enough information and details about the dinosaur for the reader. The graphic story is intriguing and exciting to captivate the reader, keeping their interest throughout the story. The pictures give enough details about the dinosaur itself, the other animals, and the environment it endured. There are facts about the dinosaur throughout the story, so there will need to be some skill of finding the information. However, I think this will give life to non fiction titles among children. ( )
