The Crossroads: An "ok" read. Great characters and very inspirational. Too much time taken to get the plot moving. The reader had from the beginning a clear understanding of where the story was headed, but it appeared the author didn't think the reader was clear on that point :)
Sanctuary: The most quick-paced of the three. Also the one with the most modern plot.
Loved the interaction between the characters.
None were page-turners; there was a sense that the plot, the characters' thoughts and the scenes re-stated too frequently. The colloquialisms became cumbersome during long periods of reading. ( )
