A nice collection of Matt Groening's semi-hilarious "Life In Hell" strips featuring that wacky and wonderfully gay interchangeable and insouciant couple, Akbar and Jeff. ( ) A collection of "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening's "Life In Hell" cartoons featuring that happy-go-lucky gay couple (this was a big deal back in the 1980s, trust me) Akbar & Jeff. The best cartoon is the final one, where after deciding to talk about their relationship, Jeff (or is it Akbar?) says to Akbar (or is it Jeff?), "I love you but I hate you". Akbar (or is it Jeff?) replies to Jeff (or is it Akbar?), "I feel exactly the opposite". Romantic tranquility ensues. Interesting factoid from the copyright page: Matt Groening's father and son are named Homer, and he has sisters named Patty, Lisa and Maggie. no reviews | add a review
