Burghleys, an art auction house in Manhatten, is the setting for a story about three women's attempts to create the lives that they want. In the background lurks a faceless, nameless criminal who is setting in motion a grand plan that will threaten these three women and all they hold dear. It is a story about love and sex, and the highest echelons of money and power. It is an entertaining read but not well written, and the characters tend to fall into stereotypes, making them completely unbelievable. ( )
