I read this during a couple of rainy lunch breaks I think - I think it was my first Wilson and maybe I was a little too old for it at the time.I found her writing a little too simplistic at the time and the story rather unimaginative - I can't say her other stuff ever appealed to me at all.Good for kids I suppose who have to deal with all these life problems she represents and to make them aware, but I didn't like the style of writing, I found it very bland. But again, I may have been a little above the reading age at the time. (I was about 11/12 when I read it.) ( ) no reviews | add a review
I'm Sadie and I'm nearly nine. Mum's a childminder, but she doesn't have to mind me. I can mind myself, easy-peasy. Lucky for Mum, because now she's got the flu, so I've got to mind her - and help with all the babies! No library descriptions found. |
