This book had a very good sense of humor, and i thought it had a good dialogue and had a good setting. i connected with this book because when i was younger i quit t-ball because i wanted to watch TV more often. This book also had a few life lessons along the way. I rate this book 4 stars.

Greg goes to the movies with his father and his brother. Then Mr.Heffely sees Lenwood Heath who was a delinquent with long hair, and now he has a crew cut. He had a conversation with Mr.Heffely and talked about Spag Union. Spag Union is a military academy that Lenwood had attended and said he wanted to get good grades at Spag Union so he could get into west point. After the movie ended Greg realized what was happening. He thought that his dad thought that if Spag Union could make a man out of Lenwood Heath it could, then it could make a man out of a wimp like himself. So Greg joined boy scouts and his dad was so excited that he even went to the first meeting with him. Then Greg earned his Whittling badge. When he came home his dad was so proud of him. The weekend of the Father-Son camp out Greg got sick so his dad got stuck with two brothers. Marcus threw a football at David wet his pants. Marcus started laughing and David got up and bit Marcus and wouldn't let go. So the next day Greg thought there is no chance i am not going to Spag Union. So When he woke up at 8:00 AM the next day he wondered why his dad hadn't woken him up. His dad said they could rethink the whole Spag Union thing. Greg went up to Rowley's house to play video games before his dad could change his mind. ( )

I like the book because it has a funny sense of humor. Its enjoyable and i gives lots of life lessons.Greg torments and is tormented by his siblings. try's to avoid work and learning.tries to impress a girl. manipulates his one friend. and is treated unfairly by parents and teachers.

I like this book because of what happens in the incidents. Also the sense of humor it gives. The details are just on point and makes me wonder sometimes. And it gives life lessons on what happens in the story. and its shows how we can also react or be the same way. I think this book was really intresting. ( )

Greg Heffley is known for being a wimpy but, his father wants to change that. He believes he can toughen him up by sighing him up sports and other manly activities. Greg believes that he can avoid his father's actions in toughening him up, which he could. But all that changes when his father threatens him, saying he will send him to military school. Greg tries and tries to find a simple way out but, he only has two options, get in shape or be sent to military school. ( )
