A small book packed with patterns that take one skein and are written for some wonderful luxury fibers. The patterns are arranged by yarn weight, which is very handy. However, I wish the photos had been placed with each pattern, rather than in a separate section at the front of the book, or at least that the photos were in the same order as the patterns, because it was difficult for me to flip back and forth while reading to constantly remember what each item looked like. Many mistakes in patterns. Go to storey.com/correct_book for corrections.

This book contains more project ideas that can be used to test out a new yarn. Unfortunately, there a loads of errors in the instructions, so be sure to check for errata on the publisher's web site. Most charts int he book have errors and the publisher provides a pdf for corrections. You'll need patience to open each separate pdf, but do check for errors before beginning any project. You'll also need patience to find the errata -- use the search term "corrections". ( )
