This is a small booklet/book that touches on attachment disorder. It gives you direction on where to turn for more in depth information should you need it. I really learned alot from this. I would escpecially recommend it to anyone adopting an older or special needs child. Strangely I found comfort in the knowledge that you can't expect certain children to ever respond to love and caring in the way we think they should. This gives you the freedom to love them for what they are and not be always waiting for the affection that will never arrive (this is in extreme cases, not all cases). It's worth the read and its a pretty small book so it wont take you long. ( )
