This is a must-have resource for technical writers, and for folks who want to support technical writers. It is also full of rationale that you can write up for anyone who questions why you are writing something a certain way. ( )

This is simply the most useful book I have ever owned. For more than 25 years, it has followed me in my career as a technical writer and instructional designer. Its encyclopedic style makes finding specific information easy. In a precursor to hypertext, related entries are bolded—so you can expand and explore as you read. ( )
