Book description
She was torn between duty and desire.

It was a marriage of heaven and hell, a king's decree that tore the glorious Lady Madrigal, daughter of the Earl of Tarbella, from her rightful fiance and thrust her into the arms of Roderick, Baron of Halconbosque. Roderick, the shining knight who saved her from certain death, would now be her husband by royal edict and by his own evil design. At last he would take his vengeance in the bed of his enemy's daughter!

But destiny had other plans for Lady Madrigal. Kidnapped from Spain to distant Morocco, she discovered a world of untold riches, forbidden passions and the golden promises of her husband's sworn foe, Akbar al Kemil. There she came to cherish, despite herself, an unexpected hope -- a hope of rescue by her one and only love, her Roderick, her fate, her... Sweet Nemesis.
