If you are interested in the concept of managing organizational life cycles that is at the heart of the Adizes Methodology of organizational growth and renewal, but you aren't ready for the conceptually denser (and much longer) book Managing Corporate Lifecyles, then this is the book for you. It offers an accessible account of the whole Adizes life cycles and the kinds of management challenges, needs and changes that occur as an organization progresses from stage to stage. If you are a manager - especially an organizational leader and/or founder - and you are starting to feel that what was working for you in the past is no longer effective or efficient enough, read this book. It has nice production values, and even though the whole Adizes (a-DEE-zus) methodology evolves a bit over time, the lifecycle analysis is quite stable. The fact that this is an older book does not make it obsolete by any means. ( )
