Story of 1857 mutiny, narrated by Ruth Labadoor, a british girl who with har family recides in India and gets homeless due to the rebels. Narrator tells us how she and her family switch homes for shelter as her father was killed by rebels and own house burnt due the riots in the town and how they survive till they get back to their relatives.

A good narration of 1857 mutiny from Ruskin Bond but not his best one ....
Ofcourse a good story. ( )
