I really tried with this one. Really. I can't take how shallow and stupid these girls are, so I'm giving up. I can't help but hate the characters. I'm glad I only spent 50 cents on this book, otherwise I'd be sad that I wasted some money. ( )

Best laugh out loud chick lit since Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. ( )

How good can it be if I can't remember the main character's name?
This is a good beach read, fluff and stuff about Park Avenue Princessess and their oh so stressed out lives. (I'm being sarcastic) ( )

Reminds me a little of the Shopaholic series.
Fun, light read with a happy ending. Every once in a while we need a happy ending. :) ( )

It is not that this book is badly written, nor even that it is poorly plotted, although any reader who is not on hard drugs will be required to suspend disbelief to a quite mind-boggling degree. It is simply that it is so horribly empty, a bilious swirl of superficial characters and sickly values.

Book description

Tényleg lehetetlen a fények városában igaz szerelmet találni?

A New Yorkban élő Plum Sykes a Vogue magazin film- és divatkritikusa, aki oxfordi neveltetése ellenére mindent kipróbált, ami illetlen, erkölcstelen, vagy árt az egészségnek. A divat- és filmvilág kulisszáit hasogató regényei rendre felkerülnek számos ország sikerlistájára.
