But I still feel like Nadelson can't really create a sucessful plot. Her books are so.....messy. But Artie Cohen is a great character and I can't quite give up on him yet. ( ) Reviewed in RTE; terrific book.
Nadelson's long-running series, featuring the Moscow-born NYPD detective Artie Cohen, has evolved from capable police procedurals to highly-praised psychological thrillers, spanning genres as easily as world capitals. Belongs to SeriesDistinctions
New York police detective Artie Cohen is faced with a murder that strikes at him personally and will ultimately place his best friend's life in his hands, enmeshing him a maelstrom of Russian money and crime--at the center of which is Londongrad, an offshore island for the new Russian underworld.
