A fun, entertaining book with lots of real facts about reptiles. Includes commonly known and lesser-known reptiles. Lots of fun to give to students to peruse on their own. ( )

This is a fun Dr. Sues book about the many different kinds of reptiles and they're behavior. I love the way Dr. Sues can rhyme and make learning so much fun. ( )

Every Dr. Seuss book is getting a ten out of ten from me. This book introduces students to dozens of animals that they otherwise wouldn't see until science class. It also rhymes, as all Seuss books do. ( )

The Cat in the Hat travels the globe—in his trusty crocodile car—to explore the world of reptiles: lizards, snakes, turtles, and crocodilians. Along the way, young readers learn the characteristics shared by most reptiles; basic information about each group; quirky, fun facts about individual species; and much, much more. Cool creatures featured include komodo dragons, chameleons, geckos, cobras, leatherback turtles, frilled lizards—a virtual Who’s Who of the World’s Most Remarkable Reptiles. Young readers will slither in delight! (amazon).
