She founded Hygieia College, a mentorship program. She is credited with popularizing the practice of lotus birth in the United States. This, her first book, was influenced by ashtanga yogi Baba Hari Dass and offers guidance and instruction in yoga for a healthy pregnancy and gentle birth. The central section of the book is devoted to detailed descriptions of postures and movements and includes photos illustrating the postures.
