Ashley O'Ballivan has been in love with Jack McCall since they met...a while ago? not sure where? but apparently he works for an unnamed branch of government doing dangerous things? I feel like a couple books ago, they were supposed to have met in High School, or at least college, but Jack's been working for the military under assumed names since he was 18 according to this book, so I....might be remembering this wrong?
Anyway, all that aside, this is a sweet little book about love conquering all.
One more thing...there's one more O'Ballivan sister left and this book was written in 2009. When do we get Melissa's story? ( )

Book description
Can college sweethearts find a second chance?

Two of Ashley O’Ballivan’s siblings are expecting children. No wonder she feels a bit left out. To make matters worse, Jack McCall—an old college flame—has booked a room at Ashley’s bed-and-breakfast.

When Ashley finds herself nursing Jack back to health after he falls ill, it would seem love was in the air again. In fact, Jack is furious at himself for compromising her safety. Unbeknownst to Ashley, Jack makes his living doing high-tech global security work, which means he has more than his share of enemies. When Jack suddenly disappears, Ashley assumes he’s gone for good. Could anything make him return?
