Besides having heroics and costumes, these comic adventures hone in on the love children have for exaggerated action, monstrous villains, dramatic irony, and themes of valor. Its busy scenes keep kids engaged with details to track and dialogue to decipher. Action close-ups capture moments where characters are suspended in mid-air or propelled in motion from a kick or smash. This comic book series contains multiple issues for children to peruse. It also holds universal appeal to children in that Spiderman himself is a teenager. In one scene he is revealed to be a hero to a little girl, and in another, he rescues a boy.
