This one took a while to get started but the characters were well drawn and I liked how the story progressed.

Lady Maude Templeton has fallen for Mr Eden Hurst, a very ineligble husband, however she's determined to make him realise that she doesn't care and she wants him to be hers. He's also convinced that love isn't worth it and that he has what he needs in life.

Interesting story and I liked Maude, even if she was a bit impetuous and worked hard at making herself a bit of a scandal all by herself. ( )
