This book is an invaluable collection of intermediate pieces transcribed for the harp. Well-known beginner pieces by Haydn, Bach, Schumann, Mozart, and Beethoven are presented here in versions specifically annotated for a harpist's needs alongside a selection of songs composed for the instrument, and the book even includes notation about adding a right-hand lever to a lever harp if you are still playing on one at this stage. Those who studied the Suzuki method before this book's publication date (1995) should be aware that "Greensleeves," which was formerly the second piece in the volume, has been replaced by the Mary Kay Waddington composition "Siciliana," which is also a duet as the original "Greensleeves" arrangement was.
