Fiction. Romance. HTML:

On Crete, you don't need a lot of clothes...and even fewer inhibitions.

Gabrielle Kempson isn't easily intimidated, a fact which Dr. Michael Nikolaos, sitting across from her in the interviewer's chair, is learning at his peril. Since she was downsized out of her hospital nursing job, she's been unemployed, holding out for another position working with children.

Michael's kindly father, Dr. Paolo, made working at a small pediatric hospital on the island of Crete sound like paradise. But handsome as Michael is, putting up with his arrogant attitude might not be worth it.

But beggars can't be choosers, so she boards a plane for the sun-drenched Mediterranean, where she finds herself warmly enfolded in the large, welcoming Nikolaos family. And she and Michael begin striking sparks that have nothing to do with butting heads...

This Retro Romance reprint was originally published in 1987 by Mills & Boon.
