Epigraph
Dedication
This book is dedicated to Hugh Lynn Cayce, who died July 4, 1982. More than any other person, Hugh Lynn Cayce was responsible for the growth of the Cayce work; and it was Hugh Lynn who stimulated me to work with these concepts of healing which have made this book possible.
First words
When I was an eight-year-old boy, I frequently looked up into the night sky, saw all those wonderful sparkling stars, and wondered how far out space really went.
Preface: I first met Dr. William McGarey in 1965 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the headquarters of the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A. R. E.), which houses the voluminous files containing the transcripts of the Edgar Cayce psychic readings.
Introduction: It was more than seventy-five years ago that Edgar Cayce gave his first reading-a discourse about his own health from a state of mind and body that some have called a trance, some an extended state of consciousness.
