A passion-filled story of just one unlucky soul traveling through the 1960s - 1970s in Europe and America. Hitchhiking, learning the ways of the road, and learning to love. ( )

The first book I read of John W. Cassell's sold me. I was hooked on the first page! That was Crossroads 1969...Well, I am proud to say that this book is no less entertaining. I'd walk a mile to a book store for John's books! He's creative genius at its zenith. ( )

Disambiguation notice
This book was originally divided for publication purposes into CROSSROADS:1969 BY John W. Cassell and AN AQUARIAN TRAGEDY by James Mundell [my pen name]. It was only after thirty-five years that the complete original novel was published under its original title. I recommend for a more complete picture of 1969 and 1970 that you read CROSSROADS:1969 followed by ODYSSEY: 1970. SOLDIER OF AQUARIOUS: 1969-1970 was written from diaries with some novelesque additions. Its focus is therefore introspective...human interest...one man's journey through the Counterculture. ODYSSEY uses this as a starting point but adds well researched commentary and historic incidents bringing the year 1970 as a whole into focus.
