Boats come in different sizes and shapes. Some boats use wind, oars, or paddles to move them. Some are super size and others are small that move boats. Some boats move fast and others are used to carry people on them.

This book is informational. It describes different types of boats how they operate and where they are typically found. I would recommend this book for children 3-5.

I enjoyed reading the book, "Boat Book." I would read this book to kindergarten or first graders. This is an informational book about boats. The book talks about how there are many different types of boats that move through the water. The book then explains how the boats move, giving examples, such as; paddle, oars, wind, engines, and propellers. The book then talks about all the different types of boats and what they are used for. There are boats such as; kayaks, canoes, sail boats, ca.bin cruisers, speedboats, fishing boats, and cruise boats. My favorite section of boats are the helping boats. There are boats such as; firefighter boats, police boats, coast guard boats, and navy boats. I felt as though this was a very imformative book that younger students would love. ( )
