Very interesting, well written like any other Grisham book. A
lot of angles that had potential but never quite came together, although I’m sure it was supposed to end that way anyway.

Unbelievably good! This is the best John Grisham book I have ever read and one of the top books I've read last year. The story was fantastic and so incredibly moving.

After reading a couple of chapters, I decided the subject matter did not interest me enough to spend time in the world of the KKK and legal maneuvering.
The actual writing is par for the course for Grisham: steady workmanship, some nice rhetoric occasionally, and an important discussion of personal relationships in a fraught world. (
