I used to love historical fiction about Native Americans as a kid, but I haven't read much as an adult. I came across this one at Goodwill, and I was really glad I did. It read as very well researched and fascinating at the same time. I was fascinated by Whirlwind's journey through childhood, growing up, as an adult, and finally as an old woman. The book was loaded with history, but especially with culture. ( ) no reviews | add a review
