I read 'Ctrl Alt Del' for a long time, and, looking back on it, I'm not sure why. One reason, I suppose, was that the art was consistent and so were the updates. I was never a particularly active gamer so a lot of the references were worth only a shrug. The characters were not always there, either. Buckley seemed to veer away from the kind of characterization that would make the strip grow into something bigger. Years later, during the '19 Quarantine, I read through the comic again and got to the place where Buckley ends the original storyline, or timeline, or whatever you want to call it. Wow. All of those strips, plus the notorious 'Loss', for nothing. Eh. It passed the time? ( )
