Easy to follow recipes, extensive variety of recipes in terms of cooking times and presentation (labor-intensive and fancy vs. quick and easy). A few pictures would have been nice, but there are plenty on flickr, tagged by the book's authors, testers and the general public. I've tried other versions of similar recipes, such as tvp "taco meat," but this book's Meximeat was by far the best. With innovative ingredient combinations and a nice bridge between familiar and new, I recommend this cookbook for anyone who loves cooking or is just learning. What a wonderful resource! I find this book extremely helpful and started implementing the tips right away. Not only does this book help me to learn how to prepare basic staple items in a vegan kitchen, it helps me do so without blowing my food budget! So far, everything I have made has been absolutely delicious and I can't wait to make some more recipes!
The recipes are great and not difficult to prepare, and a wonderful addition to my cookbook collection. This book is a masterpiece and a must-have for every kitchen. Highly Recommended! ( )
