Great read, especially if you are in a position of wanting to speak up about something at work. From why employees remain silent, the weighing of pros & cons of silence v speaking, dynamics of power, justice, motives, leadership, and ostracism. Good for employees and management to read up on this, because if an employee is speaking up - they have already considered heavily the consequences. Managers have a serious opportunity to take advantage of, or wave it off. Hmm. ( )
