Dr. Alexandra Gladstone is an oddity in the late 19th century seaside town of Newton-Upon-Sea. She is a lady-doctor. And she is determined to get to the bottom of the death of Admiral George Edward Orkwright, who was found washed up on shore attired in ladies' underwear.

I picked this book up on a whim at an outlet mall - one of those books-in-a-bin type of deals. I actually very much enjoyed this book and would recommend it...and I think I will read it again! A good murder mystery. (
