Alone and unarmed, equipped with the thirteen basic spells and not much else -- what were they thinking?!? Of course, the alone part doesn't last very long, since everything and everyone in the neighborhood seems to gravitate in his direction. Prologue: Here commences the adventures of Erwyn, Journeyman Sorceror Extraordinaire. At least, I hope to be someday, for my sake. Are you ready for this, you stupid journal? I absolutely hate writing in you. I hated writing in you through six years of Sorceror's Apprentice School and I'm not too thrilled about it now. How do you feel about that, huh? Personally, I think this journal stuff is responsible for me talking to myself all through school. Chapter 1 Quote: Orcs never sleep and are impervious to swords. However, they cannot swim and are particularly susceptible to lightning. Chapter 1: Erwyn stuck his book in his pack. He needed a place to hide for the next few years. But where? Looking around, he made a mental note of directions to avoid.

Book description |
"Here commences the adventures of Erwyn, Journeyman Sorceror Extraordinaire."
So begins the journal of Erwyn, journeyman sorceror, as he sets out to find his magical calling, preferably without running into any of the aforementioned adventures. Unfortunately, adventures just naturally seem to follow him.
