Not exactly the heir to Ramona Quimby, sometimes Amber has real dark feelings inside, and sometimes she shares them. I don't clearly remember every story so I'm copying this review to each book. ( )

The story is about Amber Brown, whose parents were getting divorce and she was sad and angry and lost. She wants to get her parents back together There was a bit issue with her when she wanted to get her ears pierced. This is a great book for children who are going through the same thing. It gives them another look at someone else life and shows that life will be OK. ( )

This is a great read for young children. It shows the struggle a child can go through when there parents are divorced. In this story Amber Browns parents are divorced and have joint custody. Ambers mom is about to get remarried and her dad just moved back from Paris. It goes through the everyday struggles she is faced with because her parents are divorced. She feels that they both think that they own her. In the novel her mother tells her that she can not get her ears pierced, but when she was with her dad she convinces him. The author also uses many puns in the book which is great for children to learn! ( )
