Habig, O.F.M If you would like to share your joy in this book, please Click here I LOVE this whole book... the writings and early lives of the man considered to be the Mirror of Christ. I especially loved the Sacrum Commericium, or the allegory of St. Francis' romance with Lady Poverty. There is something particularly beautiful about the simplicity of the early lives. If you're interested in Francis of Assisi, start here - then go read other things by all means, but start with not only the documents contained here but the commentary on them. (And it's a nice, pretty, red book with gold letter and even a ribbon) ;) no reviews | add a review
