Ellis has worked as a teacher and as a storyteller. He is also an author and a naturalist. This book is a new edition of one he did several years ago and contains 12 great stories that are science based. Adjustable to all ages, these stories talk about issues of great interest to many students, and the teacher is led through how to present the information as well as reinforce it with all kinds of activities. A teacher librarian could learn lots from looking at these stories and following the lead he presents as to how to engage students in relevant learning. It is well organized and well researched. Recommended.
