No current Talk conversations about this book. as a textbook, of course it is not going to be easy to read, but if you're looking for useful and relevant information on Asian History, then this is where you should look. ( ) "Text" is the perfect description of this book. Its sole purpose is to inform and the author makes few attempts to write engaging prose. If you're conducting academic research, this would be a good place to look. The information is thorough, detailed and covers a range of topics in Asian history, including politics, art, warfare, religion and the environment. It's too bad that the writing is repetitious and as dry as dust because the book is packed with information that could be interesting. no reviews | add a review
