In this book, Andrew Hacker examines the relationship between men and women. Women are eclipsing men in many academic studies and jobs, and as they do so, the social gulf between the genders is widening. This results in fewer marriages, more divorce, more single-parent families. Mr. Hacker doesn't judge -- he seeks to explain through examining statistics. It's enlightening and helps explain some of what so many of us are noticing around us. ( )
