This book has tons of different animals that are sorted in chapters by where they live. This would be informational because the book has facts on each animal in the book. The facts range from where they live, what they eat, and what their young are called. ( )

This book has wonderful, realistic pictures of animals in their natural habitats. Other than providing information about the animals themselves, it provides information about the habitats. It has fun facts that give the children a little bit more but it does not overload them with tons of words. ( )

Summary: This magazine explores animals in the wild and gives the reader facts they need to know about each species.

Personal connection: All children love animals, and this magazine is very bright and eye catching for the reader.

Class use: Have the student pick a favorite animal and do a report. ( )
