Anna Winthrop is independent, strong and smart and has good extincts. She looks into the murder of Isaiah a homeless man she had befriended while dealing with challenges from her wealthy family, a nasty, nosy neighbor and her job as a NY Sanitation Dep't Supervisor.

Enjoyable story-line, timing was fast but not rushed, and all the characters were well-drawn, not stiff or one-dimensional.

I look forward to reading more of Marshall's books. ( )

Good read. The killer was a surprise but the story was well written. ( )
