(Fictitious character) Diddy Ruocco is a British woman who married an Italian count.  He had six affairs in the first six months of their marriage, but a rhinocerous saved Diddy the trouble of divorcing him.  Diddy is very much in the social swing of Happy Valley, but doesn't participate in the wilder parties.  She is very hospital, and has a large, splendid house.  She is friends with Freddie Blanchard, his only friend in Happy Valley, as long as he supplies her with high quality claret.   At his behest, she welcomes Georgina and Darcy to spend their honeymoon at her home. She is generally very hospital.
