Great introduction to what HTML5 is, what it is not and it was ever created. ( )

It was alright, though the humou?r did nothing for me. For a book of a technical nature, there was a metric ton of opinion, self-confusion and loathing ( patterns, for widgets, etc.), and describing of things you shouldn't do (most of the explanation, autofocus, for people, etc.). ( )

Jeremy Keith sums up the coolest and most useful parts of the html5 specification in an easy to follow book that can be read cover to cover on a short flight.

You can find more information about his books, as well as various articles and talks at his website adactio.com. ( )

This is a very handy pocketbook guide to HTML5 - focusing on the what and how which web designers and website developers need to know. The author has a light touch, and is very amusing. ( )
