In this book for emergent readers there are multiple photographs of all the different animals in the rainforest. This book would be particularly interesting for young children as the photographs help bring to life animals they have probably never seen before. The back 3 pages are dedicated to an index of information on the animals featured for teachers or parents to share with the child after completion. ( )

Who lives in the rainforest is a simple description of all of the animals that live in the rainforest. This book offers a variety of animals that live in the rainforest habitat.
This book was very interesting because of the many descriptive pictures available to look at. The illustrations are vibrant and colorful.
In the classroom, I would have the students break into groups and have them play a matching game that contains pictures of the rainforest. Also, I would have the children paint their favorite rainforest animal.
