I have said before I am not a big fan of the zombie horror genre, but this series simply draws you in. It is not so much the zombies that do it. What does it is the strong drama and character development the authors present. They have made a story where you get to caring about the individuals, and where you know that no one is truly safe. You have to read just to find out if they make it alive another day or not. And this time, it may seem like they have found a safe haven, or have they? In a world where humanity has more often than not been lost, and people often embrace the worst, can our survivors go on and survive? You'll have to read on to find out, and as before, once you start, you will keep going to the very end. Also, once again, if you really like this series, getting these hardback compilations is definitely worth it. ( )

I like this - they have explored how far can you be pushed in the wild, now we see whether they can tolerate civilization again. ( )

As always another great installment in the Walking Dead franchise. Just when we think all help is lost things appear to be on the up and up... appear.... Dark and gritty yet masterfully crafted, this book will have you questioning human nature and what separates humans from the monsters... clearly not our humanity.

I can't wait for this show to catch up, this comic was destined to be an amazing television show. ( )

Greatest zombie series ever. Graphic novel consists of the first comcis and story line. Must read for any zombie fan! ( )

Just when I think that the series can't really get much darker, Kirkman surprises me yet again. The main characters are transforming into much more brutal versions of themselves, and once they have a chance to live in a "normal" place, it's obvious that they're having extreme difficulty fitting into the patterns that they once took for granted. The author's doing a great job of keeping the suspense going. ( )
