I really like these books. Our main character Hubie has to solve yet another struggle of how he will get through the Carnival his school is hosting. Hubie's class has to come up with ideas on what type of booth they will make for the carnival. It has to bring in lots of money so that they can put it towards getting a famous author to come speak to them.

Many ideas fly around and Hubie blurts out that maybe they should have a dunking booth. Well, guess who gets to be in the hot seat? You guessed it. Hubie. One problem however. Hubie does not know how to swim.

So our hero goes off on how to solve this minor issue. I am not going to give spoilers here, but I will say that the book was an enjoyable read. The print is a good size for the young reader and the pictures are drawn to make the reader laugh.

I highly recommend this book. ( )
