I am not an artist, but I think this book is exactly what it claims to be. With it's beautiful photos and easy to follow techniques it's easy to see how it would inspire even the most timid and untalented to pick up a pencil or paintbrush and get started on their very own creations. The author invites the readers to feel it's possible for self-expression (which is what art is all about anyway) if they just allow their creative side to take over, and not get bogged down by a right way or a wrong way. The instructions are well defined, the layout is inspiring, and each chapter gives you just enough to get started on your own masterpiece. So if you are looking for a little inexpensive therapy, get this book, and express yourself through art, you never know where it might take you.
