Time travel adventure: Rowyna Grae always considered herself human until the day Arwoyn Telluria revealed that she was created in a science lab using his DNA...specifically the gene for time travel. He confides that she came to him long ago when he was a boy telling him that she was from the future. So now he has created her to fulfill her destiny. But things go awry. Arwoyn dies, the new regime wants her to be a stealth assassin, and the young lab assistant, sends her to the wrong place and loses her. She lands 1000 years in the past with dangerously packed bags. Within a mere day, she has killed six men defending herself against robbers, rapists, and has fallen in love with the mutant king that she was sent to kill. As she changes things, she creates havoc in Richard's world down the timestream. The past isn't so charming when there is no running water, no central heat, court intrigue, evolving humans, and war on the horizon. What's a replicant to do? Well, lots...and therein hangs the tale.… (more)
