Companion to The Quiet Book. In the same way the soft illustrations helped to make The Quiet Book so beautifully quiet, the same style does not help The Loud Book convey the sounds/feelings of the text. ( )

Great for children to know when it is ok to be loud or what makes loud noises.

This book is so cute. I felt a connection to the embarrassment that some noises make. I feel that this book is a great connector to how we feel to those particular noises and how we react to them.

Very similar to 'The Quiet Book' this book shows us the different kinds of loud there are. This book would be a fun activity for circle time when the subject could be about when we need to use our inside voices compared to our outdoor voices. This book could lead to the discussion about the different kinds of loud noises you could make, which could possibly move into a musical opportunity.

There are many different kinds of loud. There are good loud's and bad loud's.
